Phase 2 was divided into three (3) contracts. Robert Our Co. was awarded Contract 1 & 1A and RJV Co. was awarded Contract 2.  Streets may have been split between contracts and not all houses on all streets are included. Further contract information can be found below.

Phase 2 Order to Connect

PLEASE NOTE: The Order to Connect expired March 1, 2025.  Since this is the order of the Board of Health, the Health Department has taken over further notification and enforcement of those residents and businesses that have not yet connected.  The Health Department can be reached at 508-430-7509 or by email to health@harwich-ma.gov

Sewer connection is currently available in certain areas of East Harwich following completion of Phase 2 construction.  Phase 2 property owners were mailed an "Order to Connect" welcome package and were given 2 years to connect. The Order to Connect date has been pushed out to March 1, 2025. Owners who have not yet connected will soon receive an orange postcard in the mail with this update.
