Distribution Operator

The Harwich Water Department is accepting applications for a Distribution Operator until February 7, 2006. Individual must possess excellent interpersonal skills, be self motivated and detailed oriented. Candidate must possess a valid Massachusetts driver's license, Drinking Water operator Certifications and experience in distribution maintenance is preferred but not required. However, applicant must obtain a Drinking Water Certificate within one year from date of hire or individual will be subject to discharge. Candidate may be required to work in both the distribution system and treatment system. Job entails working outside in different weather conditions, and lifting. Interested parties should submit a letter of interest and current resume to Craig Wiegand, Superintendent at the Harwich Water Department, 196 Chatham Road, Harwich, MA 02645, no later than NOON, February 7, 2006.
