Land Acquistion Hearings
This is to inform the abutters of the below mentioned Public Notices
that the Harwich Water Department is looking at purchasing two
parcels of land in the Town of Harwich. These two parcels are "owners
unknown". The Department is not looking to take any land.
The two parcels in question will be purchased if the Harwich Water
Department is able to receive a Grant from the Department of Environmental
Protection.

Notice
Notice is hereby given the application has been made on behalf
of the Harwich Water Department, for the approval of this Department
to acquire lands or rights of land in Harwich for public purpose.
In response to said application, the Department of Environmental
Protection acting under the provisions of General Laws, Chapter
40, Section 41, as amended and every act hereto enabling, will
hold a hearing in Conference Room 5 of the Southeast Regional Office,
Department of Environmental Protection, 20 Lakeville Drive, Massachusetts
on Monday, March 11, 2002 at 9:30 a.m.
The plan showing the land in question is on file at the Southeast
regional Office and in the Office of the Harwich Water Department.
