The Voice Broadcast Notification System allows Town officials to send recorded messages to the entire community, or a specific area within moments.  The Voice Broadcast System delivers messages to a live person, an answering machine, or voicemail to be sure you are adequately informed.  The notification system is used for emergencies such as an extreme weather conditions, water service interruption/main break/flushing, traffic incident or road conditions, etc.  Messages will inform residents of the situation and give instructions for action.

Other Notification Methods

In addition to the Voice Broadcast System, the Water Departments posts notices on our website at www.harwichwater.comFacebookTwitter as well as for the most part, these notices are relayed through the Town News Feed, Channel 18 and Cape Cod Chronicle.

To register for the Voice Broadcast System, please provide all of the required information below.  Please note that the broadcast system is set up to dial (1) one phone number per resident/business and that is the first phone number requested below.  If you have multiple contact numbers we recommend that you list your cell phone number.

Our database is updated on a monthly basis.  In the event of a town-wide emergency broadcast we will make every effort to update the call list prior to sending the emergency broadcast.

The phone numbers you provide are confidential and will only be used by the Town of Harwich Department of Emergency Management & Harwich Water Department.
