Meeting called to order at 8:15 am.

Motion made by George Cavanaugh to approve minutes from meeting held on Tuesday, January 23, 2007. Motion was seconded by Danette Gonsalves.

Motion made by George Cavanaugh to abate Stagg Chevrolet water bill based upon appeal from the Appellate Tax Board decision. Motion was seconded by Danette Gonsalves. Unanimous vote to approve.

Herb Bell wants to meet with the BOWC to discuss the Cranberry Festival fireworks. Superintendent Wiegand told him the BOWC is filing a bylaw petition prohibiting the discharge of fireworks that contain perchlorate within 1500 feet from Zone II.

Bortolotti Construction was awarded the low bid for the upcoming water main replacement projects on Pine Grove Road, Braddock Lane, Shore Road and Wayside Drive in the amount of $157, 966.50.

Mr. Louis Lacerra filed with the Appellate Tax Board in dispute of water bill #32719 in the amount of $3,359.00. Superintendent Wiegand is going to discuss a possible settlement in order to defray legal costs.

The Massachusetts DOR certified the amount of available funds on "free cash" as of July 1, 2006 in the amount of $1,750,823.00

Greg Knapp has been discharged from the Water Department.

Eight interviews were conducted for the Meter Person/Distribution Operator position. David Nicholson accepted the position to start in two weeks.

Upcoming meetings are scheduled for March 13, 2007 and March 27, 2007.
