Clerk George Cavanaugh, Superintendent Craig Wiegand, Secretary
Carol M. Connor
Meeting called to order at 8:15 AM by Chairman Bates.
Bill schedules signed as presented.
Danette Gonsalves made a motion to approve the minutes of 04/26/05
as written. George Cavanaugh seconded. Unanimous vote of the Board
to approve.
David Ryan (Town Accountant) gave a report of Water Department
finances and special revenue fund. Fixed assets will have to be
moved into the Enterprise fund. Superintendent Wiegand has compiles
the assets and inventory, and David Ryan will compute the costs
and depreciation. It is critical to have an accounting person on

Department to become less dependant on town hall.

Wiegand will put the numbers together for the Board to review.
One suggestion is to go up $15.00 on the base rate per year ($7.50
per billing). This could be done for the next two years.
Danette Gonsalves made a motion to increase Superintendent Wiegand's
salary to what was approved by Town Meeting vote. George Cavanaugh
seconded. Unanimous vote to approve.
Updates given on new tank construction, and water main installations.
Generators are being installed, and should be running before summer.
Deborah Fuller has received two awards recently from the Environmental
Protection Agency. One is the Environmental Education Award, and
the other is the Governor's Educational Award.
Superintendent Wiegand will look into cost effectiveness and employee
