Meeting called to order at 8:15 AM by Chairman Bates.

Bill schedules signed as presented.

Abatements signed for services #6444, #2339, and #4644.

Minutes of 04/12/05 meeting - motion by George Cavanaugh to approve as written. Seconded by Donald Bates. Unanimous vote to approve.

Reminder that articles #31 and #32 in next week's town meeting are for the Enterprise Fund.

Superintendent Wiegand updated the Board on the continuing progress of the health of Assistant Superintendent Bruce Cahoon. Everyone wishes him a speedy recovery.

As per a previous vote, the Board will be planting a tree in front of the Water Department in memory of Anne Smith. Danette Gonsalves will look into this.

Update on the new tank construction given by Superintendent Wiegand.

Water main projects are just about complete. Route 137 should be completed next week.

The Board reviewed and approved a copy of a letter to be sent to Attorney Stinson regarding the water installation request for 10 Wid'Stokes Road.

There was a discussion regarding a service tight protection plan that the Superintendent would like to offer to the customers. Mr. Wiegand will work on the numbers and further advise the Board.

Superintendent Wiegand initiated a discussion regarding cell phone antennas being placed on the new water tower. The Board has no objection to having him explore this option further. No connections would be done on the outside of the tank - all wires go up through the middle of the tank core.

Next meetings will be held on May 10th and May 24th.
