Meeting called to order at 8:15 AM by Chairman Bates.

Bills signed as presented.

Abatement requests reviewed and either approved or denied and signed.

Minutes of 08/10/04 - Motion made by Donald Bates to approve as written. Seconded by Danette Gonsalves, Unanimous vote to approve.

Discussion re: Kendrick Road proposal for 32 lot 40B affordable housing subdivision. A Selectmen's meeting was held on 08/23/04, and the Planning Board hearing is going to be held this evening. Nitrates and the impact on the wellfield are a concern of the Board of Water Commissioners. What will the impact be on the adjoining Shea property which the town just purchased as open space, and on Round Cove?

Superintendent Wiegand is working on a possible groundbreaking ceremony to be held for the construction of the new storage tank. He would like to include the Town Boards and the neighbors. More to follow on this later.

No answers yet from Town Counsel regarding the Hroma breach of contract.

For next meeting - There will be an update on well 10 work, a budget update, and signing of the tank contract.

September meeting dates are: 09/07/04 and 09/21/04.
