Discussion regarding a joint meeting to be held with the Board of Selectmen and the Finance Committee. The date of Wednesday, October 30, 2002, at 6:00 PM is available to all. Angelo LaMantia, Chairman of Planning Board also invited to be present.

Minutes of 09/24/02 meeting -- Mrs. Gonsalves made a motion to approve the minutes as written. Mr. Bates seconded. Unanimous vote to approve.

Abatement signed for service #1669,

Abatements signed for period ending 09/30/02.

Discussion held regarding job descriptions and evaluations. Board members will review descriptions received and offer comments if necessary.

Letter from Thomas O'Connor of 89 Depot Road disputing water violation fine. Mrs. Gonsalves made a motion that the fine be rescinded. Mr. Bates seconded. Unanimous vote to approve.

Letter from Todd McAllister of 117 Depot Road disputing water violation fine. Mrs. Gonsalves made a motion that the fine be rescinded. Mr. Bates seconded. Unanimous vote to approve.

Superintendent's report given by Mr. Wiegand.

Draft of F/Y 2004 budget plan reviewed. The Board made a recommendation that a working meeting be set so as to go over budget in its entirety. This has been set up for 10/16/02 at 3:00 PM.

Rules and regulations -- Mrs. Gonsalves made a motion to approve the proposed rules and regulations with a change to subdivisions and construction being within 500 ft. of an existing water service. Mr. Bates seconded. Unanimous vote to approve the motion.
